Tweaked review format - March 24th:
Starting with my review of F.E.A.R. (and upcoming review of its sequel), I've decided to tweak my review format and layout by just a bit, here's why:

My old format with two columns, left for content, right for Recommended Age (which is now called "Content sum up") and Pros & cons was very limiting, as not only did it display the way I did not intend it too on other browsers (extremely annoying if you're a web designer), but because of the these thin columns, it inhibited my writing style, as paragraphs had to be short enough not to overwhelm readers, and, in turn, stunted the details on what I could have fleshed out. And as my reviews are for content, this defeats the purpose—they're supposed to be descriptive.

So, I've changed the format: The Pros & Cons short list (which is now contained in the "Pros and Cons" review box) underneath the purple and blue game info box has been replaced with two tabs, "Content Review" and "Pros and Cons." The page loads with the content review visible, and to switch from it to the other, you press either button; I used basic layers and javascript, so there's no loads or delay when they're clicked. In other words, the "Pros and Cons" and "Content review" are now on their own separate pages, meaning both are going to be more fleshed out (as in more adjectives, detail, etc.), and a bit more casual/editorial writing style (especially in Pros & Cons). I want to make each review a complete representation of a game's content in text, and this new format should help me do this—maybe even a tad faster (hopefully).

And as of now, my Pros and Cons review will contain 1-3 screenshots from IGN (each screenshot is linked directly to its respective original) for the reviewed game (all are hand-picked by me, so there won't be any blood, gore or objectional content in them). I'll be adding the new format to every review eventually, and I do plan on fleshing out and fixing the oldest and newest reviews alike, it'll just take time—and still of course be reviewing plenty of new games (at least 3-4 a month). And as always, request a review; although I plan on reviewing all mentionable titles, you can pick the order ;)

Last of all, this update is only for game reviews recommended for ages 13+; reviews recommended for ages 10- are not included. So, as soon as I'm done with perfecting this format, I'm going to move on to the reviews for 10- (or kid's reviews) and figure out something for those some time soon. Thanks for reading, and I hope this slightly tweaked format will give you more of the information you are looking for (Oh, and if you're using a Mac with Safari, you'll see a new and slight indented shadow effect on the review pages' game titles, info boxes and buttons' text)
